OK... Karen - tell your hubby I have just googled geoducks because I have never heard of such a thing in my life. So while I am the richer for knowing what one of this hideous looking things is, its a negative on the BB mystery question. You are slightly closer...
OK guys... answer is up on the blog! Some of you were in the ballpark, but no home runs...
Deb... does this last comment mean that you want a framed pic of Gerard for your bedroom (as the winner of the last Mystery pic?). Just say the word...
Hmmmmm. I commented yesterday and it apparently got lost is cyper space... I wasn't even in the running, so I guess, all things considered, it doesn't matter. Some poor, unspecting bloke will probably find my comments on his post in the year 2157 and wonder what in the world????
Internet twilight zone--kind of like those sappy things you took pictures of! ;-}

My husband thinks it's a clump of geoducks. I think it's a clump of roots from an Australian tree.
I believe it's some sort of plant, one which is apparently growing by the water...one of your mysterious trees by the billabong?
