You have a new foal!
First the mare gave you a big ol pile of coal because you won' let her swin in the crystal clear pool with the kids. Then she rolled and rolled creating a dust storm that slightly soiled the pool. Felling a bit badly about that she presented you with a lovely little foal...just keep it away from the pool it hasn't had swimming lessons yet.
I'm guessing you have a wee foal on the way. GAH! You're not going to ask me to come down there and hold it on a rope, are you? I'm no longer young enough to sustain all the bruising that would entail.
I'm guessing the mama-to-be in question is the horse on the right side of the photo, because you've put her head in some kind of a lock in the crotch of that tree. Maybe that's how they do these things in Australia, but that would never fly here. Seems a tad over the top. Will you keep her stuck there for the duration of her pregnancy? Will she be let out for special occasions, like Christmas and such?
