LOL! That is classic. Yes OLD footballers do make bad decisions. My husband is 35 and hasn't played footy in about 10 years, but STILL talks about "making a come back". Last time he was sandwiched by two blokes and almost broke both collar bones. He spent the following two weeks with black bruises right across his collar bone and was unable to lift his arms. Imagine the whinging and whining! So to his come back talk I just tell him to DREAM ON!
Yes indeed, these photos will indeed be around to remind him of the follies of the ex-footy player. Real trouble was, of course, he didn;t really want to play at all. But it was for charity, and his mates were all there... etc etc. Loved your OZ Day tale The Brave! Bush Babe
